Spiritual Care and Supervision

Spiritual Care is a growing and vital part of any organisation that cares for and about people. There are Chaplains engaged in a variety of industries and sectors. Many of whom are unrecognised, lack support and acknowledgement. And yet there are great opportunities to be involved in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care.

We hope this conference will be a great opportunity to explore opportunities in the field of Spiritual Care as well as an opportunity to network and talk to others in the field and or see how you might engage in the work of Spiritual Care in the future. We hope that this will be an opportunity to raise awareness of the vital work of Chaplains and Spiritual Carers and the work that you and others do and will provide a refreshing and energising space for you to continue this vital work! It will be a rich and rewarding opportunity to meet with Chaplains and other Spiritual Care workers across sectors and across state boundaries. For those who are often working alone in this come along and meet some others!

Every Spiritual Carer and Chaplain should be engaged in Supervision. We hope this conference will also help you consider how you will engage in Supervision and you will get the opportunity to hear from and talk to Michael and Susan both who provide a wealth of experience and wisdom in providing and educating in the practice of supervision.

Spiritual Care is a growing and vital part of any organisation that cares for and about people. There are Chaplains engaged in a variety of industries and sectors. And there are great opportunities to be involved in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care.

Spiritual Care & Chaplaincy Expo

We hope there will be an expo style arrangement with providers of Spiritual Care around Tasmania so that you can meet and greet people working across the sector. If you’re currently involved in Spiritual Care or would like to be, then register now! This will be an encouraging and helpful couple of days for your practice or to hear more about the spiritual care opportunities in Tasmania.

We hope that we will get lots of people from Spiritual Care circles in the one room and have a chance to promote Chaplaincy in its various forms and contexts around Tasmania and be an opportunity to cross network and engage with people interested in Spiritual Care.
